Hundreds Mourn Mississippi Teen Burned Alive as Police Search for Clues
A 19-year-old woman who was burned alive in Mississippi was grieved by hundreds of mourners at a chapel on Saturday.
Authorities believe Jessica Chambers was on a back road in Panola County Dec. 6 when she was doused in flammable liquid and set on fire. Although firefighters found her still alive, she died later at a hotel in Memphis, according to an NBC News report.
Police have so far questioned one person in the case, who denied even knowing Chambers, and recently upped the reward for information leading to an arrest to $11,000.
